Welcome
Reviving the Oak focuses on improving the quality of education in developing countries.
Together with a team of national and international experts Reviving the Oak supports schools as a whole or individual teachers, to develop the quality of their educational system.
Through various projects, Reviving the Oak helps schools to:
- Develop learner-centered education
- Raise up students that can think independently, critically and creatively
- Develop strategy for the long term both on financial, educational and organizational level that suites the school
- Become financially healthy organizations
- Encourage the participation of students and parents/guardians within the school
Reviving the Oak seeks improvement from the inside out. It supports the schools and the individual teacher but will not do the work for them. Reviving the Oak believes in teaching one to swim rather than handing out life-jackets; only then will its impact be lasting and sustainable.
” If a man empties his purse into his head no one can take it away from him. An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest ” – Benjamin Franklin
